Create JD
The JD (Job Description) module lets you create, clone, and configure job descriptions — from core job details through skill evaluation, question building, and final approval.
To create a new JD:
- Navigate to the Job Descriptions table (main JD listing page).
- Click the Create / Clone JD button in the upper-right corner.
1️⃣ Choose Source
A modal appears asking how you'd like to start:
- Choose Clone from an existing job description.
- Select the JD to clone from — e.g. "Software Job Account - COK" — from the dropdown.
Click Continue.
2️⃣ Reference & Title
- Choose a reference identifier for the new JD.
- Select the Job Title — e.g. "TECH-LEAD".
Click Continue, then Continue again to move into the full job information form.
3️⃣ Core Details
Fill out the primary job attributes:
- Work Location – e.g. Software Engineer
- Technology – e.g. .Net
- Department – e.g. Engineering
- Additional Details – free-text input for any extra context
- Experience Level – e.g. Fresher
- Description – free-text notes about the role
4️⃣ Location Details
- Country – e.g. India
- Location – select from the location dropdown
- Additional multi-select fields for further location scoping
5️⃣ Routing & Form Configuration
- From Field – e.g. GRTGGR1 - SCRD-1-HR
- To Field – e.g. INT-ALL - TECHNICAL
- Form Type – e.g. FGBGH - FD
- Pre-Screening Form – set to Offer Letter Flow
Collaborators
- Toggle on Collaborators.
- Search for a collaborator and select from the results — e.g. Invite API Admin.
AI Evaluation
- AI Evaluation Template – e.g. CAMPS-01
Once the form is complete, click Continue.
6️⃣ Job Description Editor
You'll land in the JD editor with placeholder sections already laid out (e.g. Mandatory Skills, Job Duties).
Click Continue to move past the editor outline.
7️⃣ Add Sections & Questions
Add a Section
- Click Add Section.
- In the modal, enter a section name and click Create Section.
Add a Question
- On the section, click Add Question.
- In the Create Question dialog:
- Enter the question text.
- Link an Information attribute — e.g. Current CTC.
- Set the Answer Type — e.g. Short Text.
- Click Create Question to save.
The new question appears in the sidebar.
8️⃣ Skill Evaluation
Add one or more skills to evaluate:
- Select a skill from the dropdown — e.g. C# — and click ADD.
- A confirmation shows the skill was added.
- Repeat for additional skills, e.g. .Net Core, Azure Cosmos DB.
9️⃣ Review & Submit
On the Review and Submit screen, fill in the remaining final fields.
When ready, click Send for Approval.
A confirmation modal appears with a green checkmark and an "Approval Sent" message. You can add a note in the message field before closing the dialog.
